Holi

Holi is celebrated each year in early spring, typically in March, on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Phalguna.

Holi, known as the Festival of Colors, is a joyous and vibrant celebration marking the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. During Holi, people gather to throw colored powders, dance, and enjoy festive music, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and excitement. Friends, family, and neighbors come together to smear colors on each other, breaking down social barriers and embracing unity and forgiveness. Traditional sweets like gujiya and festive drinks like thandai add to the enjoyment, making Holi a beloved festival that celebrates renewal, love, and togetherness.
