DIWALI
Diwali, the Festival of Lights, celebrates the victory of light over darkness and good over evil, bringing families and communities together with lights, prayers, and joyous festivities.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most celebrated and widely recognized festivals in India and across the world. It symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. Diwali is celebrated over five days, with the main day falling on the darkest night of the lunar month of Kartika, typically between October and November. Each day has its own significance, with festivities that include lighting oil lamps, decorating homes with colorful rangoli, exchanging sweets, and gathering for prayers and feasts. Diwali also marks new beginnings, often associated with prosperity and renewal, as people clean their homes, make offerings to Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, and celebrate with family and friends. The festival holds cultural and spiritual meaning for Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists, each adding unique traditions to the celebrations.
