Saraswati Puja
Saraswati Puja honors Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge and arts. Devotees wear yellow and seek blessings for wisdom.

Saraswati Puja is a Hindu festival dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the deity of wisdom, knowledge, arts, music, and learning. Celebrated with great devotion, especially in India and Nepal, this festival marks the arrival of spring and is observed predominantly by students, teachers, and artists.
The puja is traditionally performed on Basant Panchami, the fifth day of the Hindu lunar month of Magha (January–February). Devotees wear yellow attire, symbolizing energy, prosperity, and the onset of spring. Yellow flowers, sweets, and offerings are placed before an idol or image of Goddess Saraswati, who is often depicted seated on a lotus or a white swan, holding a veena (a musical instrument), a book, and a rosary.
